With the rapid development of wireless technology, many kinds of wireless access technologies and wireless products have been widely applied in people’s daily life. The cheaper, less power wasting WPAN technology and relevant products is definitely more attractive for a number of low end customers. The content of this thesis is based on the research of wireless data transceiver system based on USB. On the basis of IEEE 802.15.4 standard, the system can be widely used in wireless sensor networks, wireless data acquisition system, wireless control and monitoring in home and factory environment. For the low power, low cost and high stability of IEEE 802.15.4 standard, the system can also be used in the communication between computer and peripheral devices, such as mouse, keyboard, joystick and earphone. In this thesis, some practical issues are studied, aiming at designing wireless data transceiver system. And the main work of this thesis can be described as follows:1. According to low-rate wireless personal area networks protocol IEEE802.15.4, we had a thorough analysis and research on the frame structure, transmission model and services in physical layer and MAC layer. Then we designed the wireless transmission model and accomplished the design of hardware circuit and wireless firmware program. The wireless model mentioned above took advantage of the CSMA-CA mechanism, which could improve the effectiveness of data sending and receiving evidently, especially in complex network environment. In order to assure the security of the data, we employed the AES technology to encrypt the data in the process of transmission.2. Accomplished the design of universal serial bus (USB) interface. Primarily, we read and comprehended the protocol of USB in depth and chose the control transfer mode to implement the communication between host and devices after combining the requirements of data transmission. Then, we chose PIC18F4550 to accomplish the USB interface hardware and firmware design, which could respond to the self defined requirements from suppliers, including the requirements of sending and receiving data.3. The proposed data module could be used to send and receive wiegand data frame which has been widely employed in security domain. The module could recognize all kinds of wiegand signals with different format automatically. In addition, this module could record the pulse width, pulse circle and arriving time of wiegand signal simultaneously. In order to make sure that the wiegand data could be send successfully with serious interferes and conflicts, we design a sending data mode attached to verify code. We also improved the structure of programme and adjust the time criterion. Eventually, the maximum time deviation is less than 10μs, when the module is working under 4MHz.4. Concerning with the development of driver programme, firstly, we introduced the architecture of USB host driver programme, WDM drive programme and the integrated development environment (IDE). Then, we accomplished the development and debugging of USB device driver programme by DriverWorks. The application programme in host is developed by Visual C++ 6.0, which could help users to finish relative operations with the assistance of friendly GUI.5. In this thesis, voltage transform, power consumption control, connection authority and bothway power amplification have been analyzed and designed. Finally, by making use of structural design method, we accomplished the 4-layer PCB design and relative software development and debugging.
