Recent years, with the rapid development of telecommunication technology, thescale of telecommunication market of China has been further enlarged. Nowadays, thefurther sophisticated equipments and more newly-introduced services result innumerous more workload as well as increasing expenses on managing andmaintaining the networks. It is imperative for the operators to monitor networksoperation, improve maintaining efficiency, reduce operation cost and improve servicequality by using the integrated management system. Therefore, the ZTE NetworkManagement System is based on more advanced system and structure. It provides abasic platform for developing network management systems with high performanceand expansibility, and is easy for secondary development. The network managementsystem, which is developed on the basis of the Unified Network ManagementPlatform, it is concordant in the interface style and operation mode. The concord incore mechanism makes the system more stable and easier to maintain, resulting inreducing the developing and operational cost, and helping to improve the servicequality. The main work of this subject is research about the method operating andmaintenance Session data of Network Management System, then we put forward theSessionServer subystem, and finished all the process including its design andimplement. The result shows: SessionServer is indispensable to the NetworkManagement Systems, and it is in charge of the control of Session data. In thesesystems, Session needs to be made between every registered Access Terminate(AT)and the base station whose major role is to assign Unicast Access TerminalIdentifier(UATI) tag for AT, to manage the position of AT, negotiate and discuss toallocate parameters. To guarantee the reliability of Session data and consider theconstruction load of large scaled Session data of users at the same time, Session dataneed to be saved both in foreground and in background and the two sets of datashould be synchronized, therefore, the original Session information of users can be acquired rapidly, if the Session data lose because of reset of the foreground or faults, the saved data of foreground can be transmitted to background after replacing theSessionServer if the machines of background collapsed.Aiming at the original requirements proposed by current investments toSessionServer systems, in the present research, a whole system from requirementsanalysis, architecture design, and message design to system processing proceduredesign is developed. It is observed in the testing results, the system could satisfy allthe Indices posed up by the telecommunication producers including the Session databackup and synchronization.
