Microblogging is a new type of social media, which has become an indispensable socialnetwork tool in China’s social networking platform, just a few short years time from birthtoused.As of September2014, the number of daily micro-blog active user has been76.6million, and monthly active user has been167million. In all of China’s Internet applicationplatform, the number of Microblogging users increase fastest. The rapid development ofMicroblogging changing every aspect of modern people, promote the communicationbetween people. Environmental protection is the human to take actions to solveenvironmental problems, coordinate the relationship between the human and environment,guarantee the sustainable development of economic society. The starting point ofenvironmental protection is to seek more comfortable living environment for mankind.Based on sina Microblogging as an example, this paper combined with microblogging,social network to analysis the spread process of Microblogging topics. This paper is dividedinto seven parts to discuss this problem. First, summarizes the research background, researchpurpose and significance, research status and the research content and method of researchbackground, research status at home and abroad. Secondly, micro-blog information ecologyand social networks and other related concepts are analyzed. The article highlights sinaMicroblogging environmental protection topic information filling structure, the formationmechanism and propagation mode, and using the Ucinet simulation analysis on a certaintopic, in order to understand the formation of Microblogging information ecosystem. In theend, we put forward more effectively methods to against the spread of Microblogging andmake the concept of environmental protection in-depth.The innovation of this research is as follows: first, based on the three elements of theMicroblogging content and the propagation path, the analysis of the basic structure, it isconcluded that the three types of the path of information chain. Second, form a path of corepart and influencing factors of two aspects of constructing the formation mechanism of themicroblog information chain model. Third, according to the topic of "environmentalprotection", Microblogging propagation path are simulated, present the spread ofMicroblogging information filling process more intuitive in order to fully understand itstransmission mechanism. The research in the aspect of theory can better develop informationecology theory in the application of this new type of social media, such as Microblogging.The research provides a new angle for the research of new media,in practical level can revealthe various ecological characteristics in the process of information transmission of Microblogging.
