With the rapid development of our national economy, the residents of the per capitaincome levels continue to improve, people demand for financial products and servicesexpands rapidly, more and more ordinary people need to go to the bank to handle thebusiness. Although online banking, mobile phone banking has been vigorouslypromoted, but due to financial security and many other factors, bank outlets halls stillare the main places for bank business. Authoritative survey, people’s waiting time inbank outlets hall is far more than the time required on the business, which makes peoplehave a great dissatisfaction with the bank service quality. In order to solve thisproblem, many experts and banking practitioners put forward many proposals andrecommendations, but most are stalled in the stage of theoretical research due todifferent reasons. The most widely used is Bank queuing machine in bank outlets hall,but it is from the perspective of management, only to maintain the queue order, did notreduce the user’s waiting time. Moreover, the queuing system limits the scope ofactivities of customers, increasing the time cost of users. Printing queue numbers wastepapers and ink, increasing the operating cost for banks.Therefore, In order to reduce theuser’s real time cost, improve work efficiency, enhance the bank’s service quality, thedesign of new bank business booking system is particularly important.This article taking the ordinary bank customer as the center, combined with myyears of working experience in bank system, using the software engineering thinkingand the new technologies in mobile Internet times, design and realize the bank businessbooking system based on Android. The system provides many functions, such as userregistration/login, bank outlets hall query, bank business booking, route planning,service evaluation and recommendations. This system uses Baidu map as the mapservice provider, JPush as the push service provider, which can push many serviceinformation to terminal user easily. People can locate themselves through the Androidclient easily. Then, they can query nearby bank outlets, queuing details, and select the appropriate outlets for business. Users can also book an appointment on line, setreminder for some appointment, which can help them keep abreast of the latest queuingdetails. In addition, the route planning function can help users find better ways to thebank outlets, which effectively avoids the time delay caused by the road.The system uses Eclipse as the integrated development tools, using Java asdevelopment language. Client-side is based on Android platform. Server-side choosesTomcat as web server, MySQL as back-end database. Client-side and server-side useHTTP protocol for communication; use the lightweight JSON data format for dataexchange. All of the codes have been layered design, with clear structure.Firstly, this paper describes the system background, collects user needs to completethe needs analysis and planning of the system function. Secondly, it designs the networkcommunication architecture, the database of the system. And then, the author completedthe whole system and tested it on a number of the read machines. The system gets rid ofthe disadvantages of traditional queuing machine, saves user’s time costs, improves theuser experience and the service quality of the bank.
