Research On The Evaluation Of Tourism Resources Informatization Level Based On BP Neural Network

Tourism industry is an information-intensive industry. In this sense, information is the core of tourism. Therefore, collecting, collating, processing and transferring information are the most important work of tourism enterprises. Related research shows that, accelerating the tourism-information-construction has significant sense for the health development of China tourism.Hainan is confronted with the numbers of problems in its constructing the international destination. Low level of tourism-resource-informatization, poor informatization facilities, severe and continuous isolated-island phenomenon and fractured form of tourism-resource-information, and the lack of managers with knowledge of tourism-resource-informatization are included. How to collect and manage tourism-resource-information efficiently and accurately is a vital issue for related government institutions and tourism corporations. Based on the investigation towards the tourism-resource-informatization in Hainan, this paper illustrates the situation of Hainan’s tourism-resource-informatization, and proposes suggestions and improvement measures in order to provide some guidance and assistance for construction of tourism-resource-informatization.The main topics are as follows:1. Introducing the background,significance of tourism-resource-informatization, reviewing related literature, proposing the existing problems in assessment system using the neural network technique.2. Introducing the BP neural network, including its basic knowledge and development, basic theories, structure of network and its application in BP informatization assessment.3. Discussing the indicator system detailedly, building the assessing indicator system from five aspects-utilizing level of resources and techniques, IT performance level, IT management level, facility level and the talents-training in tourism-resource-informatization area.4. Based on BP neural network technique, this paper conducts tests by the trained networks, and then assesses the level of tourism-resource-informatization, respectively, in facilitating agencies in Hainan Province and its cities and counties. Thus the isolated-island phenomenon and fractured form of tourism-resource-informatization has been particularly studied.5. Finally, this paper summarizes suggestions and approaches for collecting tourism-resource-information integratedly and managing it in a efficient way, and discusses the practical solutions for eliminating the isolated-island phenomenon and fractured form of tourism-resource-informatization to promote the construction of Hainan tourism resources informatization.
