The Internet of Things technology has been into every part of our life in recent years. But with the continuous rapid development of internet and electronic commerce, the explosive growth of data is becoming more and more difficult for the information collection system of the internet of Things. So this paper proposed the distributed information collection system of Things based on fiber optical technology, which is convenient and cheap for large scale of deployment.In this paper, there are two important parts for the distributed information collection system based on fiber optical technology we proposed. In one hand, at the side of the radio frequency identification technology, we propose the RIFD over fiber system. What’s more, this paper paid much attention to the large scale of deployment for the RFID over fiber system and also introduced the storage management system on the base of the RFID over ROF technology.On the other hand, the temperature sensing is a huge demand in the internet of things, so we proposed an improved distributed Raman temperature sensor, in this part, we paid much attention to the bottlenecks the traditional temperature demodulation algorithm. At last of this part, we introduce the temperature monitoring software system. By proposing the RFID over fiber system and the distributed Raman temperature sensor, this paper has affirmed that the distributed information collection of internet of things based on the fiber optical technology has a relatively broad application prospects.Finally, this paper also prospects and summarizes the distributed information collection system of internet of things based on the fiber optical technology.
