The Design And Implementation Of Personal Cloud Storage Automation Test System

The Network location, as an important form of the cloud storage to provide users with services, has been widely used now. However, despite their broad adoption, very little is known about the quality of service. There is still no an evaluation system about network backup which can be comprehensive, scientific and reliable for the measurement of the functionality and performance of current mainstream network backup system. Furthermore, since the complicated structure and various features of network backup products, how to build a perfect network backup function test sets and to design and develop an automatic test system which meets the network location test is quiet important for improving the efficiency of test and the product quality of network backup.In this thesis, we make a research on the auto test of network backup which is based on the principle and method of automatic test software as well as the research on the principle and design of network backup system. We designed and implemented the auto testing system based on user’s behavior simulation and the performance test automation system based on cloud platform. This thesis has stated the detailed analysis and introduction for the target, design and realization of this system. We also have analyzed and summarized the testing results for the use of this system in the actual network backup system.The network backup function test automation system can generate test operation automatically according to the testing tasks, automatically execute the testing tasks according to testing operation, record test results and seize system log information for errors and defects occurred in the process of the test. This system realized the network backup operation behavioral simulation including the upload, copy, cut, rename and other operations of files and operating frequency simulation of users. At the same time, it realizes the network control module which is used to simulate the poor and broken condition of users’network. The system has been successfully applied for the testing of independent research and development of the network location tests project. Practice has proved that the system can effectively reduce the artificial test cost of network location in the developing process, improve test efficiency, complete some testing work which can not be done manually, and is applicable to all network backup system which provided the local file access interface. It has certain practical value.The network backup performance test automation system reference using the ideas of PlantNet platform test CDN network performance, using public resources platform distributed nationwide to automated testing the file transfer performance of the network backup system, realizing the operation of testing cloud by cloud. This system can automatically parsing task parameters and issue the task to the virtual resource nodes of all provinces and cities to execute automatically, taking the results back from the server and analyzing. This system has been successfully deployed to the cloud platform of the national internet emergency center to automatically test the Kingsoft fast disk. Practice has proved that the system can quickly make a reliable evaluation on the performance of the network location, and the test results have reference value for the cloud service providers to improve the service quality.
