With the development of technology, Smart Phone, as a very importantcommunication tool,become more and more powerful. Due to Android operating systemhaving a good platform for the openness and convenience of opening and othercharacteristics, for the past two years, the phones using Android mobile phone operatingsystem has become to be more and more people’s favorite. With the applications based onAndroid platform increasing, the security problems faced by smart phone users becomemuch more important. Smart phone users have to face lots of security threats such asowners’ privacy, harassment calls, spam messages, deductions trap and so on.Now, as the security threats for the Android phone increasing, the security problemabout the smart mobile-phone has become a focus of the topic. In this paper, we take thesecurity problems on Android operating system as the study object.Our contribution inthis paper is two-fold. First, SQLite database is the mainly way for data storage onAndroid, but no security mechanism was provided in SQLite, we implement dataencryption technique refer to the common database security mechanism. Second, in orderto solve the security threats existing in the traditional phone, we also give a design andimplementation of multi-function mobile phone firewall.Finally, a SQLite which has the data encryption function is implemented, providingdatabase security mechanism for data storage on Android OS. A network firewall is alsoimplemented, which allows user to restrict which applications can access networks andmonitor data traffic. In some degree, we have solved the security threats on Androidphone.
