TD-LTE (Time Devision Long Term Evolusion) is the fourth generation technology in mobile communication which is dominated by China. As one of the main communication technologies in world, TD-LTE has significant advantages of high rate, low delay, always online and so on. China officially stepped in the4G era last year. We believe that the future evolution of LTE will make it more competent and further enhance its system performance. Based on the TD-LTE technology, this paper not only realized parts of functions but also improved the performance.Focused on the TD-LTE downlink technology, the paper first introduces related content of the downlink channels and signals in physical layer, including the link and independence between channels and the characteristic of synchronous signals. Then the application platform of the project and the final realization form are briefly introduced.The next part is also the core part of the paper, which mainly introduces the study and realization of the TD-LTE cellular system in three aspects including synchronization, scheduling of downlink channels and public channel decoding function. The study of downlink cell search algorithm includes simulations and comparations of different methods and presentation of high performance algorithm under low snr based on actual signal. In addition, this paper gives the design of downlink channels structure according to the dependencies and real-time requirements. At last, the realization of public system message parsing and extraction of parameters needed by the physical layer are showed. Practical application and test results show that the algorithm and the design proposed in this paper can accomplish the expected function in the real scene.
