With the maturing of process control technology, in order to reduce costs ofproduction equipments, improve safety of production equipments, achieve simpleproduct line processes and improve efficiency, we need research and developadvanced control strategies. The experimental device of Multi-tank water levelcontrol system is a product which can simulate observing, measuring and monitorthe changes of flow and level parameters in industrial production. It containsadvantages like easily measure and convenient for observation, and executes avariety of control schemes. Many domestic and foreign technicians have done anumber of important researches, and used it to verify the theoretical results,guided the practice of production. Therefore, the study of water tank level controlsystem is significant in many fields.In this paper, the object of study is the CS4100process control device.Firstly, for better study and control of system, the paper presents the structure ofthe hardware of device. Then this paper deduces single and dual capacity watertank system mathematical models based on the experiments respectively, sinceconventional control measures it is difficult to achieve the desired effect, weapply fuzzy control technology combined the traditional PID control to designparameter self-tuning fuzzy PID controller. Finally, Adding mathematical modelsof dual capacity water tank system into the new controller for simulation study,and realizing the remote monitoring of level of water tank systerm throughkingview. The experimental results show that the fuzzy PID control is better thanthe traditional PID control.
