Along with economic reformation and the domestic prosperity, refinerieshave become popular everywhere. So the catalyst delivering pipeline is playing amore important role in the process. And because the granular feature and thedelivering process with high temperature and high pressure, the monitoring ofpipeline requires us lots of attention. To find a simple and convenient methodwill have great contribution to the safety of the process of production.In the text, we introduce the thinking of infrared monitoring. We depict thedomestic and foreign development and fundamental indices. Based on thephysical truth, this paper identify the thermal infrared imager, learn its technicalspecifications, understand its working feature, introduce its key techniques, suchas DDE processing of figure details. Then we study the algorithms of imageprocessing. We regard the learning of fourier transform and DCT as thebeginning, master the fundamental processing skills. Among the many imagesmoothing processing methods, we emphasize on the homomorphic filterprocessing. And among the image intensification treatment, we pay mostattention to the differential operator processing method. To make sure theintegrity of the content, we also introduce the image segmentation in details andcompare processing results and characteristics of different thresholdsegmentation methods.During the completeness of the paper,we built the infrared monitoringsystem and collect the image on the scene. We screen the collected pictures andapply different algorithm via software programming, screen the great deal ofpictures.We confirm the final scheme as a combination of homomorphicfiltering,differential operators edge testing and image segmentation.Theprocessing effect is fine and the judgment for internal invisible broken position of catalyst delivering pipeline is accurate.This paper has strong practicalapplication meaning.
