An efficient taxi management system can help the vehicle management station to alleviate the tedious manual work. Meanwhile, it provides the opportunity to further dig into the data collected by the system, and then figure out how to properly adjust the policies in order to improve the organization. The system can keep track of a huge amount of taxi registrations and provide handy user interface for editing and searching.The system is based on object-oriented design and has been implemented through several iterations. Analyzing the requirements with use cases, constructing the domain model, making each domain module more robust, lessening the gap between analyzing and designing, assigning responsibilities to classes with GRASP(General Responsibility Assignment Software Pattern), employing the common three-layered architecture, following the interface oriented concept, together with applying the design patterns such as abstract factory, make this system to be maintainable and extensible. The system is implemented with ASP.Net of Visual Studio2010. The backend database is Microsoft SQL Server2008. The web frontend employs Javascript and JQuery for better user experiences.There are four modules in this system:driver management module, car management module, training management module and backend management module. The features include: filing the customer compliant, filing the violation of the regulation, recording end-of-life car, registering new car, recording training plan, and recording the score of the training. It covers the daily transactions of the vehicle management station, and helps improving the efficiency a lot.
