The layered architecture of Internet of Things and transmission technologiesapplied in network layer and sensing layer are analyzed in this paper according to thegrowing scale of development in Internet of Things industry which has been a goodmarket prospects by simplifying the traditional mode and improving work efficiency. For some communication protocol like IPv6cannot meet the needs of massive addressresource in the network layers, the concept and format of the access layer protocol hasbeen proposed to resolve the problem above. The number of access layer devices willbe substantially increasing if every sensor node is directly access to network layerfrom their own access point. Using a shared channel to transport data from eachsensor node before the transmission to network layer will be an optional choice. Andusing synchronous transmission to avoid data conflicts will be an available solution.Transmit and receive module are designed to show how one of the channel slotsworks with the help of lock module and simulate the modeling by ISE in Verilog HDLlanguage.CRC module is added to this system to ensure the accuracy of data.CRCshows great error detection capability by alarm success which was set by accident. The following four parts consist of this research. Firstly, the development ofnetwork technology home and abroad were studied to show the similarities anddistinction between the Internet of Things and the traditional Internet. Internet ofThings is not an independent system, but an important part of the future network withtechnology advancing in intelligent recognition, mobile terminals, sensor networksand materials. Secondly, for some communication protocol like IPv6cannot meet theneeds of massive address resource in the network layers, the concept and format of theaccess layer protocol has been proposed to resolve the problem above. Thirdly, Usinga shared channel to transport data from each sensor node before the transmission tonetwork layer will be an optional choice to avoid data conflicts in the public channel.Transmit and receive module are designed to show how one of the channel slotsworks with the help of lock module and simulate the modeling by ISE in Verilog HDLlanguage. Lastly, CRC module is added to this system to ensure the accuracy ofdata.CRC shows great error detection capability by alarm success which was set byaccident. The study of Internet of Things access layer shows the help not only in dealingwith a lack of IP address resource, but also the help in cost savings by using a sharedchannel fully. It also provides a reference for further research in access layer transportprotocol in Internet of Things.
