Entering the information age, multimedia technology has entered a period of rapiddevelopment, on the one hand, visitors can not only with the help of multimediatechnique intuitively understand the relevant information, but also interaction involved,the full enjoyment of multimedia information carrier has diversity and integration withthe people, different from the previous information unidirectional transmission visitingexperience. On the other hand, as users and management of multimedia system, eachenterprise exhibition hall, science museum, also hope that through the advancedmultimedia technology, to create a good environment for visitors to visit, provide morevivid, rich visiting experience, establish a good image for the enterprise, make theexhibition information communication between the visitors with more smooth. But toachieve these goals, the multimedia managers have to increase the number of devices inthe multimedia system and types of equipment, so that the switching and control,equipment devices become more complex, control exhibition environment also morecumbersome, greatly affected the application of multimedia technology in real life.RFID radio frequency identification technology is a radio frequency signalthrough space coupling (alternating magnetic field or electromagnetic field) toachieve non-contact transmission of information through the transmission ofinformation to identify the purpose of technology. Because RFID technologygradually reduce cost, simple and convenient operation, has been applied to more andmore multimedia control system, such as the2010Shanghai World Expo will be theapplication of RFID technology to the multimedia exhibition system, the realizationof a large number of information service needs of different groups of people, is one ofthe more successful RFID technology in the multimedia control case.According to the multimedia control system inconvenience, after a full analysis of the current situation of the application of RFID technology in the multimedia controlsystem, puts forward a set of both multimedia playback control and light controlfunction of the multimedia control system. The RFID technology as man-machineinteractive interface of multimedia control system, through the RFID reader, earlyidentification of visitors wear an electronic tag, and transmit the information to theserver, the server according to the label information, the hardware platform composedof multimedia equipment, lighting equipment, lighting control module using softwareand multimedia control system designed in this paper, multimedia equipment andlighting equipment to send corresponding commands, playback control local mediafiles, control of the LED light color and brightness, and set up an experiment system,simulation verifies the function.The main contents of this paper include:1: The basic composition and working principle of RFID radio frequencyidentification system; the determination of system operating frequency, the selection ofhardware.2: Design and application of RFID technology in multimedia control system,consisting of the overall architecture of multimedia control system design andhardware.3: Design of multimedia control system software architecture, and softwarefunction is verified by the experiment system.4: Design of the DMX512lighting control module based on DMX512protocoland realize the function simulation.
