This is an era of information-overloaded. It seems difficult for people to figure out the regular pattern from the mass of unprocessed data. That means we cannot take advantage of the value of data. With the explosion of information, the law and interaction of data is drowning in the ocean of data. Therefore, it is imperative to provide visualized and interactive visual environment by the analysis of messy data.This paper researches related technologies of Data Visualization finding that most visual solutions have several aspects of deficiencies:1. They are realized through bitmap images. Visual effect is affected by the serration which appeared during the high-rated rooming of the bitmap images. Because of the various sizes of screen and browser window and a variety of browser versions, the Data Visualization solutions based on bitmap are unable to keep excellent visualization all the time.2. Most Data Visualization solutions just show static pictures which come from Web Server. On the one hand, data information is difficult to be restored from the static graphics. On the other hand, user interaction is impaired when the local changes of the data displayed or the changes of the graphic style are needed. A new entire visual graphic has to be generated on the server and sent to the client.This paper analyses the requirements of an excellent data visualization solution and puts forward a Data Visualization solution based on B/S. It can solve above problems effectively.1. The visual graphic is ensured to have high resolution during any scaling thanks to the SVG and VML format of the vector graphics, thus enhancing the solution to be able to adapt to any changes in the size of the client. The solution also offers cross-browser compatibility and search engine friendliness by combining SVG and VML.2. The solution can response to user behavior effectively by AJAX and DOM Event Listener. Asynchronous communication can update the local information of the visual graphics according to the demand as well as improving the users’interactive experience.This paper has applied the data visualization solution to the system of supervising security of digital documents. Most leakage of information is due to the fact that digital documents are easy to spread and copy. This paper provides following graphics:1. Document flow distribution graphic, which can show the circulation and distribution of each document throughout its life-cycle. It can narrow the scope of persons responsible for the accident after the event of leaks, which can benefit the’tracing after leaks’work.2. Document operation chart, which can help the managers to find the source and cause of the leak and reduce time to trace it by summarizing and counting of operations.3. Risk-warning graphic of leaks, which has the benefits of effectively showing the security situation in the system, identifying the potential risks, simplifying the managers’ work and improving the efficiency of maintaining security of the system files. The visualization schemes proposed in this paper contributes to monitoring the safety of electronic documents to the level of ’prevention before leaks’and’tracing after leaks’.
