| With the rapid development of Internet and Internet of things technology, traffic forms gradually become diversified and data traffic increases dramatically. As the main carrier of information transmission, optical network will have more and more serious tests. Following with SDH and WDM technology, OTN is a new generation of optical network technology, which has wavelength and sub-wavelength cross-connect ability, especially the OAM function. Due to OTN technical standards becoming more completed, network application is on a large scale and bearing capacity of traffics are increasing gradually. By reasonably routing and allocating resources for the traffic, the network resources can be efficiently used and the network cost can also be saved. Therefore, how to better research on routing and resource assignment for OTN planning become significant, and it is also the main content of this paper.With the support of related research projects in my laboratory, the main work and achievements in my paper include:Firstly, the development of optical network is summarized. Then the background and trend of OTN is introduced. By collecting and reading a large number of documents, analyzed the research status of related issues at home and abroad which leads to the question raised by this paper and its research importance.Secondly, brief introduction to the OTN network architecture, key technology, main equipment and network mode. Also expound the concept of network planning, including planning process and analysis method, especially the RWA problem and the main algorithm to solve the problem.Thirdly, provide an OTN node model. Based on this model, the OTN network is in a hierarchy. Then both a mathematics model and a project function for routing and resources assignment of static traffic under this hierarchical structure. To solve this problem, an IMC-KSP algorithm is proposed. After the simulation analysis, the results show that the IMC-KSP algorithm can effectively reduce the network resources for the same traffic.Finally, with the support of laboratory project, we developed the OTN network planning and optimization software. As the backbone of the project, I have completed the design and implementation work for the core module such as networking routing, basic planning and so on. And make an introduction of software architecture, basic function and core module implementation. |
