| In order to speed up the commercializing of LTE and meanwhile protect the investment which operators spend on the2G/3G, LTE need to be compatible with the former network mode at its primary structure-build time, therefore the LTE multi-mode terminal is put forward. The protocol conformance test of LTE multi-mode terminal can not only improve the quality and property of multi-mode terminal, but also make a contribution to perfect the LTE terminal technology.The development of LTE multi-mode protocol conformance test cases is some kind of effective expansion and perfection.to TS36.523-1which was proposed by3GPP which keeps updating with time goes by, so it can meet the need of LTE multi-mode which develops and changes pretty fast. On the other hand, according to the different demands of the network, operators have to regulate its own rules to comply with it. So the LTE multi-mode protocol conformance test cases can also give a great supply to the operators who want to make rules for the network which they are taking charge.Based on the study of the interoperation between LTE and2G/3G, the paper discussed the designing and realizing of the LTE multi-mode terminal conformance test cases. Specifically, we discussed how to solve the problems of voice service which LTE bears and has studied the CSFB technology to understand its basic theory and the signaling processes. We tried to find out the points which former test specification missed before and then specify the testing purpose, methods and conditions so as to design the signaling processes in LTE multi-mode terminal which is based on CSFB technology, and then use Anite SAS development platform to debug and realize the cases. Firstly, the paper introduced the concerning scientific theories and the Anite SAS development platform, explain the CSFB and GERAN signaling processes, then mainly discussed the designing and realizing test cases which can be deployed in the network mode of operation, network assisted cell change, redirected with system information, cell access barred, refuses and rebuild the CS service. The following part is the study of the signaling processes transformed on the LTE multi-mode single-standby terminal which are switched from CSBF to UTRAN,then the designing and realizing the cases which is deployed on the network mode of operation, redirected with system information, cell access reserved, special area access barred, refuse and rebuild CS service. Last but not least, I made a conclusion of the paper and come up with my own suggestions and look forward to the future. |
