In modern city,there are so many problems, including big population,serious polution,heavy traffic pressure,that developing the intelligent transport system becomes the key to solve the contradiction between limited traffic resources and huge travel demand. Focusing on the shortcomings of existing bus query systems such as lack of dynamic real-time bus location information,single user interface,poor user experience,we put forword the intelligent transportation information service system based on IOS,through combining the static bus information and dynamic bus locatioon information,studying the mechanism of bus-waiting remind,getting-off remind and daily remind,in order to solve the outstanding problems which reduce passenger travel efficiency severely-the long bus-waiting time and forgotting to get off in strange roads. The system is based on C/S architecture which combines GPS positioning technology and network communication technology. And the client of the system is designed to run on iphone.The article introduces the needs analysis of intelligent transport system,the overal design architecture,related functional modules and the actual test process.The system uses C/S architecture,which consists of client and server. And the design and implementation of client is the focus of the article which should be elaborated in detail.On the contrary,the server will be introduced just in brief.The client records user’s operation and behavior through SQLite database,communicates with server throught HTTP request and the custom protocol. And it was devided into five parts:station inquiry,bus line inquiry,transfer inquiry,favorites and the more, through which all functions are realized, including "good user interface","real-time location tracking","remind","comments","other auxiliary functions".After a professional test,the client software proves to be qualified to meet the user’s inquiry needs conveniently,to display information visually,to show the static busline information accurately and to track the bus location precisely. The success rate of binding bus automatically in getting-off remind is97%,however,the success rate of binding bus manually is100%. After all of the bus-waiting. reminds,getting-off reminds and daily remind, are setted correctly, the success rate of accurate remind is100%. In. short, the intelligent transport information service system based on IOS offers the user accurate bus line information, precise real-time position of bus and various remind functions.As a result,it reduces user’s bus-waiting time greatly,improves the efficiency of user’s travel and make user experience good.
