Recent years, circuit simulation software developed rapidly, circuit simulation model emerge one after another. According to the type of circuit, circuit simulation software model can be divided into analog circuits simulation model, digital circuits simulation model and hybrid circuits simulation models.The typical analog circuits simulation for SPICE use modified nodal analysis method to establish the circuit equations and provide the functions of linear DC, nonlinear transient analysis and linear small-signal analysis. So analog circuit simulation model requires a lot of matrix calculation operations. With a sharp increase in chip-scale analog circuits, the consuming time of the current analog circuit simulation model is very long, circuit simulation cannot meet the demand of people, explore new fast circuit simulation model is very urgent. Based on it, on the basis of the existing simulation model, this paper focused on improving the speed of circuit simulation key technologies and designed the multi-threaded and GPU parallel computing algorithm, the simulation results showed that the speed had been significantly improved.This paper describes the current status of circuit design and experimental teaching system of colleges and universities, the demand of project has been described, and several existing simulation models were introduced. Performed SPICE models and IBIS for analog circuit simulation, this article have a more thorough discussion of the principles and algorithms of simulation model, highlighted the revelation for us to proposed the new fast circuit simulation model in these models, then in the introduction of the key technology for fast circuit simulation. This paper raise several ways to speed analog and digital circuit simulation, for the key technical issues of fast circuit simulation, such as multithreading and matrix calculation equation, the authors designed and implemented it by using CUDA GPU computing platform,which has been integrate with existing traditional simulation platform, by building the actual circuit simulation, the whole circuit simulation speed has been effectively improved, there has good application prospects on a computer with CUDA computing.Finally, the paper summarizes some of the problems which currently existed in fast circuit simulation design and the main direction of circuit simulation development, these issues will be the focus of further research in future.
