With development of e-commerce and increment of business requirements, interactive systems become the typical form in today’s computing world, which means that multiple processes in the system need to collaborate to make the whole system running well. These collaborative processes form software systems with complete business processing functions to meet the needs of the system users. This thesis aims to study the nature and significance of multi-process interaction model in interactive systems, and proposes a modeling method based on global model and local model. Thus participants involved in the business integration will be well defined in a most intuitive way, and the enterprise privacy can be under perfect protection with concepts of public process and private process. The thesis first introduces the background of this project with a brief description about development of interactive systems under the background of economic globalization, followed by current situation of multi-process interaction in the field of workflow. The involved subject is carried out based on research orientation of laboratory, and then detail introduction will be given on SOA, Business Process Management Platform, WS-composition, Eclipse’s plug-in technology. This article’then illustrates the significance of multi-process interaction model in BPM (Business Process Management). Requirements of the multi-process interaction modeling tool will be discussed based on investigation, followed by the SOA-based architecture design. With this SOA-based architecture, key modules of the system are designed and implemented. Finally, an example model will be built with this multi-process interaction modeling tool along with related analysis. Future work will be pointed out based on the summary of previous work.
