The Design And Implementation Of A Web Cluster System

Nowadays, a large number of services and applications are deploying around the network. With the more using of CPU intensive applications, like CGI and dynamic homepage, it puts forward higher requirements on the performance of Web services. The Web cluster technology can greatly reduce the probability of failure of the system, and ensure the availability of the system. So there are more and more enterprises begin to use the Web cluster service. With the enhancement of national strength and increasing demand for information, the requirements for the cluster technology will increase day by day. But the research on Web cluster that based on domestic computer, operating system, database management system is very few, there is still a certain gap of controllability and controllability between the opening source tools and the requirements of the state, so the design and implementation of a Web cluster service based on domestic software, is of great significance to solve the information system concurrency, throughput, load balance and high performance computation.Firstly, throughout the analyzing of the functional requirements of the Web cluster, pointing out the front distribution system and load balancing algorithm. And throughout the analyzing of the environment requirements, selecting the domestic software to support the system. Secondly, designing the structure of the Web cluster system, the system is divided into database layer, application server layer, distribution layer and client layer. Then describe the functions of each level module. Study on the processing flow of the main function module, and design and implementation it in detail. Finally, testing for the Web cluster system’s function and performance, and subsequent the optimization scheme through the analysis of the testing results.This paper study the front distribution technology and load balancing technology of Web cluster system, using four-layer and seven-layer load balancer as the front distribution system. And realize the separation of dynamic and static data by caching mechanism. Improve the ability of Web cluster system to handle requests from users.To sum up, through the study of related technology of the clusters, and analysis of domestic software, and research of function of the Web cluster, realizing the Web cluster system which set up on the domestic software platform finally. And verify the availability and performance of the system by the testing.
