With the rapid development of electronic and communication technologies,"The Internet of things" has appeared in people’s field of vision, which implies that life is on the direction toward automation, intelligent and humane. In the process, MCU plays an important role for controlling the electronic devices. In the reality application of MCU, the performance, stability and cost requests have to be considered, therefore special MCU emerged. It is a challenge to designers to a special MCU to match the diversity of needs, better reuse of existing achievements, better to customized according to the needs.This paper describes on SOPC technology and introduced the Verilog HDL language, then analyzed the instruction set and interrupt system. As followed, the paper analyzed the seven kinds of triggering mechanisms and processes. The paper divided the instructions into21categories, and analyzed each category of instruction execution process carried out in detail.Based on the analysis ARMv4architecture, this paper designed a special MCU whose instruction set are compatible with ARMv4. So the special MCU can execute ARM instructions, and support the seven kinds of interrupt of ARMv4.Finally, Writing a C program running on the special MCU and verify the correctness of the design through observing the results of the C program.
