As the national research equipment development project, Chinese Spectral Radio Heliograph (CSRH) plays a significant role for solar physics research. The CSRH monitoring subsystem is the central module of the control function, providing accurate control timing, human-computer interaction and communication interfaces to guarantee the system operation, and to achieve the solar activity information exactly and reliably.The main works in this thesis are presented as below:(1) Base on the needing of versatility, stability and reliability, the framework of the monitoring subsystem is designed. As a result, the structure design and function division of indoor and outdoor control units are completed.(2) Based on the distributed network control method and the system redundant design, some units of the indoor monitoring are designed and achieved, such as the timing control module for system synchronization which generated the optical control signals for polarization switches and the control signals for40-channel analog receivers frequency selection. By analyzing the signal delay and phase error due to the geometric distance between each antenna-pair and in order to minimize the errors, the optical fiber transmission PCIe card is developed to compute and transmit the real-time delay and phase compensation parameters for the digital correlation receiver. The cabinet power distribution units are produced in standby switch way to meet the monitoring subsystem power distribution requirement.(3) In condition of the low temperature outdoor control, the outdoor monitoring units working in the environment of wide temperature rang are designed and achieved. They control the antenna drivers and front-end polarization switches, and monitor the status of all the front-end parts. With the optical-to-electrical converters, the outdoor monitoring units receive the indoor optical control signals and operate the real-time switch for the antenna circle polarizations.The CSRH monitoring subsystem has been manipulated at Mingantu observing station of National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC). With long-time operating and testing during summer-winter seasons, the CSRH monitoring subsystem carried out the synchronization control for the whole antenna array, controlling the system units and monitoring the system status. The scientific data has been achieved by the CSRH monitoring subsystem. Now this system is working stably and reliably, the expected designing objects of the CSRH monitoring subsystem has been complemented successfully.
