On the occasion of explosion-proof, people usually use explosion-proof typed videooptical transceiver to transmit video signals. At present the conventional type optical transceiveris put into explosion-proof tank to meet the demand of anti explosion. The explosion-proof tankis expensive and heavy, which increases the difficulty on cost control and construction.This article firstly introduces the application of the digital video optical transceiver in themonitoring field and analyzes the design concept of incompressible digital video opticaltransceiver and the technology of fiber optical communication. Then this dissertation studies thecomplete set of design scheme of digital transceiver and finishes the intrinsically safe design ofthe hardware circuit and succeeds in using single fiber to transmit incompressible four-way videosignals. The design contents in this paper includes CPLD core video, the hardware circuit designof LVDS serialization and the design of scrambler and descrambler by using Verilog HDL. Thedesign of optical transceiver includes optical transmitter and optical receiver. The opticaltransmitter consists of video signal processing, data signal processing and digital signaltransmitting module. The optical receiver consists of video signal processing, data signalprocessing and digital signal receiving module.The sample machine of the digital video optical designed in this paper has been produced andit has achieved the goal of anti explosion without being put into explosion-proof tank.Meanwhile it has high practical value with advantages of low cost, transmission signalstabilization and lightning protection.
