Optimization Of CDMA2000Radio Access Network

With the development of network convergence and Internet, the competition amongoperators is becoming more fierce. The network quality is a key factor to determine the future ofnetwork operators. For the existing mobile newtork, the key concern is how to improve thenetwork service quality by network optimization. The optimization is very important for CDMAmobile network, because CDMA system is interference limited. By network optimization, theperformance, service quality, and system capacity will be improved, so the network will havebetter service quality and higher resource efficiency. Optimization is beneficial for operator’sreputation.This thesis focuses on the CDMA2000radio access network optimization. Based on thestudy of mobile system optimization, the engineering optimization for CDMA2000radio accessnetwork was done. The access obstacle, call drop, low data rate, and pilot pollution areinvestigated in detail, and solutions for above problems are proposed.
