Research And Design Of Identity Authentication Platform For E-commerce Based On Biometric

The most commonly authentication methods for e-commerce are that CA is responsible for issuing digital certificates in order to indicate user’s identity. Howerver, PKI-based digital certificate can not address the problem of the user’s physical identity in e-commerce environmnet.More and more web applications require reliable network biometric technology to determine a user’s identity, and then judge whether the user has permission to access the system requested service. We combine PKI and biometrics technology to research identity platform for e-commerce. This paper mainly focuses on the following research.1. The paper analyzes the main problems facing e-commerce network security authentication, and expounds the current research status of the mainstream identity authentication technology at home and abroad and its development trend.2. On the basis of PKI and biometric authentication technology, open source CA system software called ejbca as the basis of identity authentication platform, biometric certificate (BC) are achieved by adding fingerprint feature authentication information to extension fields of X.509V3format digital certificate. The fingerprint keys are derived from fingerprint-based pseudo random number generator(FPBRG).Biometric stroed in BC are protected by fingerprint-based fuzzy vault scheme.BC can combine PKI and biometric authentication perfectly, which can address the uniqueness of user physical identity problem on the open network environment applications like e-commerce system.3. This paper designs and implements a BC-based biometric certificate authentication platform for e-commerce, which is applied to an e-commerce system and verified the scheme can effectively address the problem of identity authentication. It can provide a kind of security authentication solution for e-commerce system.In summary, BC-based identity authentication platform can address the problem of user physical identity authentication for e-commerce system, which must have a broad application prospects in the future.
