The Research Of Identity Authentication Based On Fingerprint Biometric Template Protection

This article introduces the biometric template protection theory and development of the fingerprint template protection theory, and descripts the basic principle and the algorithm of fingerprint template protection, and introduces performance evaluation of the fingerprint template protection system. this articles have studied the existing encryption and how to improve it.The fingerprint image is obtained through instrument gathering, but before carrying on the encryption algorithm experiment it is needed to process fingerprint image and improve existing algorithm for having clearer image.To carry on the analysis based on the error correcting code fingerprint encryption algorithm--fuzzy vault algorithm, design and improve this algorithm, then joins the hashing function in the algorithm encryption stage, as a result of hashing function's characteristic, it can provid the safeguard to the entire algorithm's security, and carries on the simulation in Matlab. Analyzing the result of algorithm can very good realize the fingerprint template's protection.The chaos theory is used to hashing function, thus appears the chaos theory security hashing function. The chaos theory has the sensitive initial value characteristic, using it to replace crc can examine key and encryption key in the fingerprint template protection algorithm and enhance algorithm security; The chaos function and the hashing function characteristic apply the chaos uncertainty and the hash unidirectivity fully, so explains the key provide the difficulty for the aggressor, has realized the fingerprint template's protection, it can ensure key safely through examining of chaos hashing function in decryption.The fingerprint recognition and the protection will provide the protective function for individual information security, the biometric will have played the major role effectively in the later security domain, this article have been more perfect to the algorithm improvement the fingerprint template protective system, in theoretically it has solved the template security problem, played effectively the protective function in the later security domain.
