With the rapid development of information technology, especially as the popularity of high-definition audio technology, more and more high-definition television programs by the majority of TV viewers alike. Many high-definition TV channels direction began to evolve. In the evolution process, for compatibility with the original standard definition TV technology, most standard definition TV channels using high-way broadcast simulcast program.In order to meet the needs of a television broadcast center with high SD programs, designed and implemented a high standard definition with the broadcast system based AFD (Active Format Description) technology. First introduced in detail the overall architecture of the system and the specific composition of subsystems, including video and audio subsystem, the network subsystem, synchronization subsystem, control subsystem, the subsystem clock, subtitles subsystem monitoring subsystems and software subsystems. Secondly, it introduces the implementation and monitoring of the system AFD technology. The system adopts the international advanced AFD information control, broadcast within the system to achieve a high standard definition signal amplitude automatic type conversion ratio. Starting from the production domain media assets within the system to broadcast information will be embedded AFD file, making the device can automatically broadcast system information for each program according to AFD automatic aspect ratio conversion, in order to achieve a high-definition broadcast file, the broadcast system, the completion of a high standard definition signals simultaneously broadcast business needs. Finally introduces the related test, test results are given.Currently, the use of the system has been formally launched its TV programs to the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, broadcast via satellite, good signal quality, the system is stable.
