Network traffic control is an important network management technology, which is widely used in government, enterprise, schools, medical and etc. This thesis studied the accurate network traffic control technology for complex enterprise network enviroument and proposed the network traffic control algorithm based on DFI and DPI network control method. The proposed algorithm solves the problem caused by the chaotic network data and improves the network quality. After the feasibility demonstraintion from both theoretical and technical aspects, the thesis provided an implementation of the network traffic control and management system. With the supporting of deep payload level detection and behavior identification technologies, the system will be able to identify all kinds of network flows and take management of them.The main work and innovation of this thesis are as follows:1. Comprehensively analyzed the popular solutions and their pros. and cons. By utilizing the characteristics of the research in the LAN network traffic, the thesis proposed an architecture for network system for local area network (LAN) traffic management and control.2. Designed network control system for requirements from the enterprises LAN. The system is capable of identify the protocols and contents of the network traffic flow with a high identification rate; and with the customized flow management strateges, the system will efficiently achieve the target of network flow control and flushing. Besides that, the system can also well present the realtime and historical net work flow in different aspects to the administrators.3. The service and client models for the network control system were implemented. Details about the models in the system including the functions and positions of models, the dependence and mutex between them, as well as their working flow are also elaborated in this thesis. Analyzed the feature and performance of the designed system in real serious. Experiments showed that, the designed system has met kinds of the requirements from enterprise network, thus it can efficiently reduce the efforts of the network system building, relieve stresses caused by the network payload, and improve the operability and maintainability of the system. Also, with the histogram informations generated by the designed system, administrators can easily analyze and predicte the tendency of the network flow distribution. The designed system will contribute a lot for an enterprise to the network configuration optimization, the guarantee of the critical applications, and the promotion of customized network service.
