With the rapid development of Internet, the management of network application and the network traffic control has become an important topic of network management, the identification of network application and network traffic control will help ensure the network kepp well and stable.In today's network management,effective administration of network can not only can give administrator the running state of network, but also fix the problem of network rapidly. The identification and contorl of network include several parts:network flow measurement analysis, identification of network application, control and management of network application.The increasing P2P service in the network is consuming network bandwidth, network administrator should P2P network traffic through the traffic control to make sure that the network stable and unobstructed.In this paper, first two chapters introduce background knowledge,the common method and theory of net flow measure and control, third and fourth chapters give an detail description of network applications identify and control systems based on the iptables modules of linux,including the framework,module design, and some source code,fifth chapter introduce the traffic control module and the DC-SFQ algorithm which is the improvement of SFQ aiming to control the P2P traffic.
