In recent years, mobile communication industry has been developing rapidly. Hand in hand with the rapid increase, there is frequent updating in mobile communications technology. Mobile communications have been evolving from2G,3G to LTE, showing the trend of broadband, IP and medium. The mobile IP bearer network can be divided into two parts which are core IP bearer network and mobile backhaul network. The mobile backhaul part has priority in the deployment, management and maintenance in the entire network because of its large coverage, scattered geographical distribution and other characteristics. In order to respond to new technological challenges, we introduce SDN to address mobile backhaul network routing resource optimization problems. By doing this, we can make full use of existing network resources and transmit traffic in a more flexible way in the premise of making least changes to the existing network.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:(1) Introduce SDN into existing network to achieve flexible routing control. Due to the existing MPLS-based traffic engineering has a disadvantage of an overhead signaling, and IP-based traffic engineering is inflexible in selecting path, this paper introduces SDN into the existing network architecture to control boundary network node intervally, in order to achieve traffic engineering control process, SDN seperates the control plane and forwarding plane which can reduce signal overhead and achieve the flexibility of choosing the path.(2) Reserved bandwidth based on traffic prediction, optimize the traffic distribution process. Network traffic information can be obtained by flow prodiction, based on the available future traffic condition, we can provide allocation scheme for different traffic streams by bandwidth reservation which can meet the needs, and also lower overall network utilization and congestion rate.After comparing the proposed algorithm with algorithms based on OSPF and NS-S-OSPF from the vision of both theory and simulation, it can be seen that the proposed algorithm can bring lower maximum link utilization in the network, which can reduce the possibility of network congestion.
