With the development of technology, the modern process industry environment has become increasingly complex. Nowadays, the mainstream development of workflow still focuses on solving single workflow problems, but the solution for multiple process interactions is deficient. The functionalities of process interactions are completed by handwritten code, which leads to low reusability. In order to solve the problem of designing complex processes, it is necessary to introduce the process communication mechanism, which splits the simple processes from complex process logic. And it is more convenient to realize the interaction by integrating different processes. This paper proposes an event-driven bus-based communication architecture, and uses a new software architecture technology--event-center magnet model to organize the bus and the various workflow engines. The proposed architecture will not destroy the original structure of different workflow engines.Firstly, this paper describes the background and the content of the research, and explains the necessity and rationality for solving interactive problems in complex environmental processes, and clarifies the value of this study, and proposes event driven architecture and ECM model.Secondly, this paper elaborates concepts and key technologies about the architecture of coordination between workflow systems, as well as detailed functions demand analysis of this framework. The design of coordination between workflow systems is based on an event-driven architecture, ECA rules technology, and ESB bus technology. And on this basis the design concept and overall architecture of interactive mode is proposed. And this paper describes the detailed design of the underlying database module layer, ECM module layer and the bus layer. Thirdly, based on the design concepts and requirements mentioned above, this article elaborates the realization of the framework of coordination between workflow systems, including the realization of customized JBPM workflow engine, event messages and routing tables. And different functional modules are mentioned about underlying database layer, ECM module layer and the bus layer. Finally, an integration framework is based on Kingforce heating system to make the functional test and performance test. The results prove that the system can be quickly built, realizing processes interactive mode between systems in lightweight.
