Comprehensive test methods of wireless broadband access equipment are the hot topic of communication devices currently. A comprehensive test method for wireless broadband access equipment and related software research platform design has an important impact for testing, accuracy, efficiency of an integrated device.This dissertationfocuses on test methods and platform equipment design, research from the test methods, software architecture, and design visualization different angles to its comprehensive testing methods to achieve the entire test platform. The main contents include the following:(1) Design of simulate real network applications script generation techniques and traffic generation engines. In this dissertation, active testing approach generates network traffic network device under test by injecting script code execution. First the characteristics of a common communications network of eight applications are analyzed. Through the design of a script about write rules, script parameters, script commands, eight different types of traffic simulation script are completed. Communication terminal generates traffic during the test engine through reading the script contents and produces different types of network traffic, which can analyze running status of network devices under different applications.(2) Design of distributed systems based on multi-point test method and software framework. In order to meet test requests for network device with a large scale terminal’s requests, the network communication nodes are divided into controller terminals and communication terminals, which the former are responsible for initiating the test procedure and test data collecting and the latter is the actual communication participants and data respondents. Distributed systems based on multi-node test platform greatly improve scalability, capable of a greater degree of change in the number of network nodes.(3) Test data documents automatically exporting and database storage module. In this dissertation, WORD and EXCEL OLE automated exporting technology-based testing program can export dynamic test documents based on document templates during the test, which greatly improves the integrity of the test results and normative. Meanwhile, the use of the ODBC standard database interface, test data is automatically stored in order to deal with the persistent data stored in the Access database.(4) Based on test data show a linear interpolation visualization module. In order to dynamically display the test results during the test changes, we use linear interpolation technique to test data processing fixed time interval to obtain changes in the continuous-time test data. Finally, the MFC graphical display technology has been the dynamic changes of the data.These are the main content of the work and innovation of this article. As the study of wireless broadband access equipment in the initial stages of the test method, the test platform implemented in this article may provide reference and basis for subsequent in-depth study.
