Research And Implementation Of Secure E-Mail Sysytem Based On Android Platform

With the rise of mobile Internet and intelligent terminal, using E-mail in mobile terminals has become a trend.However, E-mail is transmitted in the form of plain text,with lot of risk of being attacked.Due to the hidden trouble in security Android itself, intelligent terminal is easy to produce the problem such as information leakage after missing caused much trouble to users, and even more serious damage.This article studied on how to establish a secure E-mail system based on Android platform.Through the analysis of the security threat of mail system and principle of encryption technology, this article dedices to realize E-mail encryption based on PKI and choose RSA as asymmetric encryption algorithm.This paper proposes a secure E-mail scheme based on the Android platform,by establishing a credible wayward server for user authentication, and releasing digital certificate for both sides of communication to transmiss E-mail safely.On the server and client interactions, design based on the asymmetric encryption and random key transmission process, ensure the safety of the private key safety transmission.Based on open source email client,this paper realize a encryption module to accomplish certificate request, key transmission, E-mail encryption, decryption, and other functions. At the same time,the interface of client is simplified to improve its use efficiency.Finally after tests showed that the client has good security and practicability. This system has realized the end-to-end E-mail encryption and solves the problem of information security on the mobile terminal storage. This system is over mail system, so users do not need to change the mail server. Now the system is in commissioning phase. Keys can be automatically assigned by installing the client and adding email account under network environment to enable encrypted mail to be sent and received.
