Research And Design Of NFC Atenna

With the popularity of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology and intelligent terminals, NFC products gradually rich and NFC applications play an increasingly important role in people’s lives. The communication technology of NFC has formed some international standards, whereas the antenna which plays an important role in the communication has no fixed form since it should be adjusted to fit the appearance of NFC product, and traditional design methods of NFC antenna have significant limitations, this paper studies on this issue.Firstly, this paper introduces the background of this research, and points out the problems in the design process of NFC antenna, then proposes the method which uses the simulation software to design NFC antenna. This paper also introduces the development of NFC applications and details the operation modes and the tag types of NFC, as well as the relevant standards and terminal architecture. The difference between NFC technology and RFID technology is described.The principle of NFC antenna is analyzed, and the key parameter which should be considered firstly in the antenna design process is determined. Through the comparison of some traditional design method of NFC antenna, a simulation method with HFSS is proposed. Two antenna model are established and simulated to validate the feasibility of design NFC antenna with HFSS.To illustrate the design process of NFC antenna with HFSS, two antenna model designed for a particular NFC chip are established, and effects of the physical parameters on the electrical properties of NFC antenna are analyzed and validated, which could be used to guide the actual antenna design process.Finally, this paper describes the problem which appeared when antenna works in a complex environment, and a surface theory is therefore studied. Theoretical explanation is conducted, and then some simulations and experiments are carried out to verify the correctness of the surface theory.
