Smart environment control system is an important aspect of the Internet of Things. It combines computer technology, communication technology and lots of technology about control. It is mainly used to smartly control all the elements within the environment in accordance with user requirements. However, due to the variety of the services provided by user, it is a great challenge to the smart service-management system. Traditional smart control system uses the service-based management strategies. It is useful but also brings some problem such as the difficulties in service management, cumbersome in conflict detection, etc. As a result, how to create a service model which can take all the management, verification and scheduling into account is one of the key scientific issues in the research of smart environment control system.To solve these problems, based on the target of user demands, this paper presents a service modeling strategy based on dimension model. In this model, individual elements in the environment are abstracted into different dimensions, such that multiple dimensions construct a space and each service can be formulated by a service space. Then we simplified the conflict detection within a service into intersection and/or union operations between subspace sets of this service by using algebraic logic for space calculation. We further proposed the rules of integrating all individual service spaces into a comprehensive service space, which represents the desired system state. Such integration can transfer intra-service conflict detection into inner-service conflict detection, and so simplify the conflict detection process. After that, combined with smart environment control system structure, we theoretically analyzed the strategy of service management based on this model. For the important part of dimension management, service additions and deletions, we designed two different solutions for different system scale and application scenarios. At last, we designed a service scheduling algorithm for the real working process of whole system, which can effectively through the current system physical state to determine the next job so that making the dimension model more fit smart environment control system.Above all, in this paper, a novel service model idea was provided based on the smart environment control system structure and the features of services. This model simplifies the management and validation of service, and makes the service scheduling in a high efficiency.
