Our country has a large number of silk cultural relics, the protection of silk cultural relics’information is becoming more and more serious. At the same time, along with the development of the silk industry in China, the efficiency of silk creative design is very low. In recent years, the technology of expert system develops fast. Because of the ability to simulate human experts to solve complex problems, it is it is widely applied to various fields.This paper puts forward the silk cad expert system based on Web, the system uses the MVC design framework, can achieve the separation of the three layers--the Model layer (the Model), View (View) and the Controller layer (Controller). It improves the efficiency of system development.In this paper, the main work is as follows:1. Starting from the model of expert system based on Web, this paper expounds the concept and composition of the expert system based on Web, and analyzed the Web development technology support for expert system. The paper puts forward the overall design scheme of the system, analyzed the system each function module.2. Design and complete the silk products cad expert system composed of three modules:using Java, JSP, HTML and MySQL language to build the material database and silk relics Web database management system; the construction of knowledge base based on Drools rules engine; using forward inference control strategy as the inference engine’s reasoning mechanism.3. Shows the realization process of the system, gives the example of system operation, and has made the analysis on the stability of the system test.The actual running effect of silk cad expert system based on Web with the Drools rules engine is good. It is effective to protect China’s silk relics’information, and greatly improved China’s silk product creative design automation and intelligent level, has a good market prospect.
