Product Structure Management is the main way of organizing, managing and displayingproduct data,one of the most important function in PDM. Product Structure Tree is the way ofdescribing the product structure in general sense. But in terms of duplicate, the relationshipbetween product components presents typical network structure in fact. On the other hand,with the use of MBD technology, structural features reduced significantly; with the increasingof product type number and version number make the product information stored in PDMpresent "big data" feature and efficient mass data storage and access issues growing highlight;at the same time, PLM enables business users almost "full participation", demand forconcurrent read and write growing higher and higher. PDM data is stored in centralized RDB(relational database) existly, which supports consistency transaction processing, real-timeread and write and complex multi-table queries and other inherent characteristics constraintthe storage of unstructured data in PDM. Therefore, the logical structure organization andquick research of product data in PDM is very necessary.Fisrtly, this paper describes the definition, current research and related basic theory ofPDM and NoSQL.Secondly, analyzes product structure and data features of PDM, raises a mesh data modelof product structure in PDM based on NoSQL. his model uses product structure mesh to realdescribe the relationship between product components and design non-relational database tostore data,so as to solve the difficulties in storing PDM data with relational database, usingadjacency table structure to store the mesh model and with similar hierarchy algorithm toestablish this structure.Thirdly, in view of the drawbacks of time-consuming in extracting product informationin "big data" amount of product structure and the strengths of parallel search algorithm,proposes a matrix layer divided parallel breadth-first search methods based on productstructure in PDM to improve product data information retrieval speed.At last, do experimental tests to verify the data model and search algorithm proposed in this paper. The produce mesh of product structure in PDM based on NoSQL can present therelationship between the product structure more truely and simply. Matrix layer dividedparallel breadth-first search method based on product structure in PDM has optimization thanconventional method in retrieving a large number of product information in the productstructure.
