How to solve problems of the data traffic growing and insufficient network resources, the optimization and control of traffic for provincial internet network will be the key for telecom operators to develop steadily in the fierce competition to provide users with more high-speed bandwidth access and better network quality guarantee.In this thesis, In order to solve this problem about the optimization and control of traffic for provincial internet network, the trend of the development of province Internet is analyzed, and the necessity of optimization and control for province internet is elaborated. Meanwhile, the backbone network structure of CTT of Liaoning province is studied through neatening the basis theory of the provincial internet network, and the hierarchical structure of the network is improved, and the dynamic routing protocols of province network is discussed. Finally, according to the broadband business development needs, the traffic and distribution of province network users are analyzed and the detailed control solution strategy for the provincial network is designed, which is applied to the CTT network in Liaoning province.It is shown through the actual test and verification that the effect of optimizing and controlling of province network traffic is remarkable. Through the techniques of adjusting routing strategy, arranging buffer resources and setting up specific network exits, as well as using the device of analyzing and controlling network traffic, the refined management of network traffic is practically realized, and the quality of network in Liaoning province is improved and the operating cost is controlled. All of these are laid the conditions for to the development and the guaranteeing operation of the Internet.
