With the continuous technology development of Internet of Thing, intelligent household electrical appliance, as a basic element in the whole Internet of Thing system, commences to show great market potential and draws great attention of more and more users. However, every coin has two sides. While intelligent household electrical appliance has been popularized all over the country, its disadvantages also arise. The current development of intelligent household electrical appliance is limited to the progress in its function——in accordance with the consistent development module of only updating one single function but neglecting the workflow coordination between the different intelligent household electrical appliance——resulting in its user incapable of experiencing the convenience brought by intelligent household electrical appliance and unable to meet the changing requirements of its user. From the view of the user’s experience, this essay will study the interface design of the intelligent household electrical appliance system, discuss how to scientifically and collaboratively manage the logical workflow of the different intelligent household electrical appliance and eventually improve the user’s experience when operating the intelligent household electrical appliance. On account of the technology of Internet of Thing, from four aspects of information architecture, logical flow, content layout and interactive design, this essay introduces the research methods and procedure of interface design for the intelligent household electrical appliance system by means of current status analysis, questionnaire inquiry, user interviews and situation analysis based on spot, line and plane, etc. Meanwhile, in order to guide the design practice, this essay has also purposefully summarized some related research methods and principles during every research stages.This research establishes a convenient, effective and more easy-to-use intelligent household electrical appliance management system for the target users, promoting the friendly interaction between the user and the product. In this three-dimensional integrated system created for user, product and environment, both the utility value of intelligent household electrical appliance and the user’s experience value and product value have been greatly enhanced.
