ABSTRACT:In this paper,a new kind of measurement system of the antenna’s elevation angle for GSM-R base station is explored for carrying out a more safe,accurate and convenient measurement for the antenna’s elevation angle.At present,because there is no similar system in the world, so the engineers have to do Tower work to measure the antenna’s elevation angle at home and abroad.This system develops an measurement of elevation angle by using ATmega162which is produced by Atmel Co to be the core to control various module,and SCAl00T-D01sensor which is produced by VTI Co to measure the antenna’s elevation angle,displays in handheld terminal of touched PC.The measuring accuracy of measurement system of the antenna’s elevation angle is0.5°,which shows that the system is stable,convenient and high-precision.The main content of this paper are as follows:At first,the background,research contents and the research significance of this thesis are first reviewed.The principle of angle measuring sensor and the working principle of SCA100T-D01are introduced at the same time.Subsequently,the structure and principle of ATmega162is given,especially it’s input and output ports,two USART ports and SPI.Secondly,the overall design of the measurement system and all function modules are introduced, and the hardware circuit of the system is designed with modular design thought. And then the printed circuit board is designed and produced on the basis of he principle diagram.Thirdly,the software program is designed in according of the hardware platform. With the functional demands of the system,the process and some program codes of each module are introduced in detail.The WinAVR software is used to compile the program and generate the target files fro debugging and downloading.Finally,the debugging of the hardware circuit and the emulation of the software are completed,and the bugs are resolved immediately.The simulated resuilt and practical performance both verify that the system has good performance and meets the design demands.
