With the development of e-science, wireless communication technology, embedded technology and industrial control technology, the traditional monitoring and control system gradually switch to the development of the digitalized, networked, centralized control and the embedded. Control system on the industrial and agricultural site managed are generally recognized and internationally adopted as an advanced management mode. Recently, people put forward the higher requirements for the centralized control system. With the introduction of the concept of "Anytime, Anywhere, Anydevice", unmanned, remote monitoring, mobile security and other diversified set of control system solutions are being widely concerned.The automated control monitoring system is based on GSM and embedded Web technology. On the one hand, some hardware and software on temperature control are carried out, then, the design framework, the main circuit design, principles, related schematic and PCB production is introduced, respectively. As a result, the function on real-time temperature monitoring, real-time infrared parameters set, over-temperature SMS alarm and inquiry are realized.On the other hand, some the design of the subsystem on embedded WEB server has been completed. In this section, the embedded relative mini-operating environment built by transplanting the Bootloader, configuring the kernel and building the root file system is realized. Meanwhile, the server can be externally accessible baed on writing the device driver program, HTML files, CGI scripts and transplanting embedded Web technology. Furthermore, some collections on the videos, and the function on hardware resource control have been obtained by writing V4L2interface and the network part of the program. Based on the key technology of digital video compressing and the latest H.264video coding, the transplantation and optimization of video codec on DM642is meticulously discussed.Finally, client-side software for handheld device based on the Android development platform is designed, which not only make computer monitoring and control possible, but also extends to be applied in the mobile phones and other handheld devices. Additionally, as a link of the entire system in actual field applications, the mobile device client has been released in Android market, which may push through the cloud upgrade or just directly through the two-dimensional code to download or update client-side software. Therefore, the investigation mentioned above has the important practical application and reference value.
