Designing And Development Of The Stocking-selling-storing Management System Of HH Metal Materials Co., Ltd.

Since initiating the reforms and open policy, China has undergone enormous changes in all walks of life, the steel industry is no exception, steel production in China has become a superpower. A large number of steel distribution companies came into being because of strong demand for steel in the domestic steel; however, these steel distribution companies have common problem, such as the low level of information and a lot of manual operation, which are serious deficiencies. This paper is designed for Metal Materials Co., Ltd. Wuxi HuiHong in order to overcome the companies’ Stocking-selling-storing management shortcomings, and improving the efficiency, speed up the construction of enterprise information.We introduce the background and significance of this system, focusing on a systematic analysis, design and implementation; part of systems analysis analyzes the system’s business requirements, organizational structure and functions, business processes, then we draw the data flow diagram the company on this basis; part of systems design does the overall design and detailed design Using the structured design method; part of the realization achieves system functionality, then we does white-box testing and black-box testing, conducting an objective evaluation system.According to the characteristics of enterprises and the actual business needs of enterprises, we designed stocking-selling-storing system, which can be widely applied to the steel distribution companies. The paper focuses on the practical application of the system which developed by PowerBuider9.0and SQL Server2000, the system is user-friendly, intuitive, system-to-use, safe, efficient, and easy to maintain.
