The generation of grid can solve the needs of users in the aspect of computing and storage, especially after the rise of the photon grid, a large number of people are benefit from the service ofthe photonic grid. However,in the process of combining and grid is facing some challenges, amongthem, the main challenge is how to the organic integration of the grid and the network, the grid canbe effectively scheduling optical network resources according to the application requirements.Globus Toolkit has become the default standard of grid development, Globus Toolkit usingMDS (Monitoring and Discovery System Monitoring and Discovery service) and "GRAM (Globusresource allocation management) components to found and schedule the grid resources, however, itsMonitoring and scheduling of the photon grid capacity is limited, especially in optical networkresource scheduling function. In order to let the Globus Toolkit can be competent in optical networkscheduling tasks, it is necessary to increase the broker module for optical network resources in theGlobus Toolkit, the module in Globus Toolkit realized by Web Services technology.Thesis has designed an architectural framework that allows Grid applications to dynamicallyrequest (inadvance or on-demand) any type of Grid resource: computers, storage, instruments, anddeterministic, high-bandwidth network paths, including lightpaths. Based on applicationrequirements, the broker communicates with Grid resource managers and, when availability isverified, co-allocates all the necessary resources. The broker controls all network resourceallocations to dynamically setup and delete dedicated circuits using Generalized MultiprotocolLabel Switching (GMPLS) control plane signaling. In order to make optimal brokering decisions, the broker uses near-real-time performance information about Grid resources.
