Research And Design Of Intelligent High-definition Network Camera Based On DM8148

With the rapid development of social information technology, people’s securityconsciousness is more and more strong. As one of the fastest development of fractionizedomain in the security industry, video surveillance system has a huge space in market, andthe network camera is the “nerve ending” of video surveillance system. In addition, thevideo surveillance system has entered the network era, and it is increasingly developing tothe direction of high-definition, intelligent and wireless. At the same time, TI has launchedthe DaVinci chip DM8148with a great improvement in the video image definition andalgorithm processing efficiency. Therefore, the research and design of intelligenthigh-definition network camera based on DM8148is of high practical application valueand great significance.This paper designs a intelligent high-definition network camera based on DM8148platform, which achieves maximum1080P resolution ratio and25frames per second inreal-time video transmission in H.264format. It supports image capture in MJPEG format,and provids a web browser. And a warning area alarm algorithm has been proposed andimplemented in the system.The main work is demonstrated as follows:First of all, the background and significance of video surveillance field and networkcamera are given, and the technical principle of video signal color space, audio/videoencoding (decoding), network transmission protocol are introduced.Then, the hardware platform characteristics of DM8148processor and the workingprinciple of peripheral equipment are descripted. According to the overall softwarerequirements of the system, designs in overall structure, details and peripheral devicedriver are researched, and complete the data transfer between modules.In addition, a detailed design for the warning area alarm algorithm that intelligentalgorithm module called is carried out, and the whole system has been built and debugged.Testing results show that all the function modules are meet the design requirements of the system, and the intelligent algorithm can do real-time detection and track of the person insurveillance region, then recognize and process the suspicious behavior.Finally, a summary of the whole content is given and the prospect of furtherdevelopment is raised.
