Multiple sound sources localization is widely applied in various areas such as militaryaffairs, video conferencing, and family and so on. It has gradually become one of the mostpopular research topics. Localization system uses microphone array to collect the soundsource signal, then analyze and process the signal which we got, finally determine the locationof the sound source. Multiple sound sources localization algorithm including, sound sourcelocalization algorithm based on controllable beamforming, sound source localizationalgorithm based on high-resolution spectral estimation, sound source localization algorithmbased on time-delay estimation.A method was proposed which was named multiple sources localization based oninterpolation and time difference of arrival. First, the signal was collected by microphonearray to filter, remove noise and interpolate. Second, we can use the cross-correlation timedelay estimation to calculate the time difference. Finally, we can use the time differencecombine with the geometry of microphone array to estimate the sources localization.This paper firstly constructed the L-shaped microphone array and signal processingmodel. Secondly, we use VB6.0programming language to design a system of multiplesources data acquisition simulation platform and real platform. With the Matlab processingdata and threshold method used to determine the number of sound sources.Third, algorithmused to analysis and process the experimental data.Through the test, multiple sound sources location algorithm which was presented, can beaccurately and real-time measurement the location of sound source. We know locationalgorithm has small error, can be used in the actual sound source location.
