Flexible Card Inventory System Based On SSI Frameword

With the continuing development of digitalized campus construction, the issue of howto provide a more efficient and scientific information management system has become animportant part of promoting school management capacity and efficiency. This projectdesigns and develops a campus ID card management system which covers the wholemanagement process from inventory to dispatch, intending to solve practical problems ofthe daily work in colleges and universities. It also provides scientific statistics and dataanalysis ability and proves to be a typical application of information technology inimproving efficiency and the standardization of management during the process ofdigitalized campus construction.Based on SSI (Struts, Spring, ibatis), a lightweight web framework based on J2EE,this project designs and implements a flexible card inventory management system. Thispaper contains four major parts: firstly, it introduces the background of the implementationof such a system, together with the guiding principles of implementing SSI framework andthe characteristics of flexible management. Secondly, it describes the requirement analysisof the system, which includes business requirement analysis, user requirement analysis,and functional and non-functional requirement analysis. Then, it shows the overall designof the system, including the architecture design, the function module design and databasedesign. Finally, it elaborates the design and implementation of the main function module inthe system.One of the campus card systems designed based on this project has been put into trialoperation, which has basically achieved the expected effects. Not only has it improvedwork efficiency, but it also increased the card management scientificalness. This system iseasy to operate, has strong expansibility and flexible capacity and can be applied indifferent types of card inventory management.
