Research On Fingerprint Identification Technology

Fingerprint recognition technology, which is widely used in all areas of society,istoday’s hot spot of computer research and gradually replaces the traditionalidentification technology. But most of the fingerprint identification system is usedonly in a particular field development, if the use of the field is changed, the stabilityaccuracy is affected, therefore there are practical significance and role of major inthe development of wide adaptability and high accuracy automatic fingerprintidentification system for the needs of the market.The paper researches and implements the Fingerprint Identification Systembased on the MATLAB. First of all, the fingerprint identification technology basicknowledge, composition, working principle and the main steps are briefly describedSecondly, the paper describes the workflow and specific preprocessing algorithm ofthe image preprocess. After these, the fingerprint detail feature is extracted, and thealgorithm is discussed in detail, in which the fingerprint feature points is mainlymatched and the matching rate is above70%.In addition, the matching algorithm is to find the reference point on the localstructure, not all of the details. This is why the technology saves time. The paper alsoproposes a fingerprint matching algorithm based on frame sequence, and thealgorithm processes the fingerprint image sequence that needs feature fusion splicingand template technology, whichis the innovation in research objective.
