With the development of network technology, network player has become one of the mainstream dissemination media. Now the network player is in extremely competitive, the success of the product greatly depends on the feeling of the user. So usability of the Network Player has become a primary consideration in software development.National standard GB/T16260metric system is our national standard for all software, which rules usability’s the indexes. This paper describes the background and related research based on the basic principles include the following:1. First introduction of metric system easy to use design principles, then analysis of the national standard GB/T16260metric system’s content and the shortage, reference to the relevant report to measure the performance of the network player’s basic indicators, then improve the metric system.2. Detailed analysis of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), for the original scale’s shortage of AHP to solve non-quantitative issues, proposeing based on fuzzy theory, three-point estimate method to improve AHP Algorithm, made a analysis of improved algorithm, New algorithm provides a solution to deal with the problem of non-quantitative.3. Design and implementation of network player’s usability testing software, design the business process of testing usability of network player and the database.Using c++programming language and vc6.0platform sucessfully developing the software.By the performance testing, the software system is proved to achieve the expected goal, which can make a comprehensive and accurate measure of usability of the network player.
