The Internet of Things is a network that use sensor technology to make the target object have a special information,then exchange these information to monitor and manage target objects. It has three parts:perception layer, network layer, application layer. Perception layer is the basis for collecting information,network layer is the way of data exchange, the application layer provides various services. But sensing devices have huge difference, if the application layer directly face these devices, it needs process the complex data which would reduce the system performance. Middleware technology is just a good way to solve this problem,It can preprocess sensory data and provide a unified interface to the upper layer.The system use both RFID and ZIGBEE technology to monitor and manage the target object.Firstly, the paper introduce those technologies in detail and compare their advantages and disadvantages.According to the actual application requirements,making a overall design for the system of the Internet of Things that consists data integration system,device management system and network data transmission system.And then using concept of SOA to realize the system that can improve the flexibility and scalability of the system.Finally,the system was applied to "Perception Campus" actual project successfully,and the analysising of the actual application data demonstrates the effectiveness of the system design, and also point out the shortcoming of the system, and make a further prospect of its application.
